Please join us for our annual Arts and Sciences Collegium. We will have many new and exciting classes taught this year, including a feast track that will last all day, covering topics from how to pick your theme to how to organize your kitchen. The end result of this track will be a hands-on, practical feast preparation for that evening's festivities. If you have ever wanted to cook a feast, now is your chance to get a good idea of how to do it.
Speaking of the festivities for A&S, the Bard of the Oaks competition will be held during the feast. If you are interested in competing for that coveted position, please contact Branwen Cryccthegn Deorcwuda.
Categories for the Bard of the Oaks competition:
* Period piece or a piece in a period style. Documentation encouraged.
* Your best piece
* A filk or funny song - bonus points for referring to Darkwood icons.
Anyone is encouraged to take part - come and have fun!
If you would like to teach a class, please contact the class coordinator: Katherine ni Cheallaigh of Skye.
Don't want to worry about bringing food to the event? Well you are in
luck! The College of St. Davids is hosting a donation lunch to raise
funds that will help with the reinstatement of the college. There will
be two types of soup and bread available. We will provide bowls and
spoons, you provide a monitary donation of your choosing.
The College thanks you in advance for your support!
There is no site fee to attend the collegium, although there may be a fee for certain classes. However, if you plan to stay for the feast, tickets are $5 and can be purchased the day of the event.
